Second Moon 2024au.  — the sky will have a new cosmic visitor this fall: Unlike the moon, earth's primary companion which has accompanied our planet for around 4 billion.

 — this month, earth will grab itself a second moon in the form of the tiny asteroid 2024 pt5.  — from the end of september, a tiny asteroid called 2024 pt5 will get caught in earth’s gravitational pull and temporarily join our moon in orbit.
